What will we do with the information you provide to us?
All of the information you provide during the booking process will only be used for the purpose of progressing your booking, or to fulfil legal or regulatory requirements if necessary.
We will only share this information with our clients for the purpose of the event and will not share any of the information you provide during the process with any other third parties for marketing purposes or store any of your information outside of the European Economic Area. The information you provide will be held securely by us and/or our data processors whether the information is in electronic or physical format.
We will use the contact details you provide to us to contact you to progress your booking. The other information you provide is used for providing specific dietary requests to the venue. During an event, you may be included in photographs which may be included in our website.
We will never sell your personal data or share it with third parties who might use it for their own purposes.
What information do we ask for, and why?
We do not collect more information than we need to fulfil our stated purposes and will not retain it for longer than is necessary. We do not normally collect sensitive personal data. In the event you provide us with any sensitive personal data, we will take extra care to ensure your rights are protected.
The information we ask for is used to collate a list of attendees for the purposes of booking venues and meals and further contact for future events.
Information for email recipients
If you have received an email or marketing communication from a customer using our service, we will have acted as a data processor in respect of your information. This means we have no control of your personal information and our customer is simply using our service to send emails.
In these situations you should contact the Events For Travel customer who sent the email for details of how and why your personal information is used, or if you wish to exercise your rights as an individual in relation to your personal data.
We employ a variety of technical and organisational measures to keep personal data safe and to prevent unauthorised access to, or use or disclosure of it.
We want to ensure you remain in control of your personal data. Part of this is making sure you understand your legal rights, which (for individuals) are as follows:
• the right to confirmation as to whether or not we have your personal data and, if we do, to obtain a copy of it (this is known as a subject access request);
• the right to have inaccurate data rectified; and
